NATO Watch www.natowatch.org conducts independent monitoring and analysis of NATO and aims to increase transparency, stimulate parliamentary engagement and broaden public awareness and participation in a progressive reform agenda within NATO.
The NATO Watch website is one year old. In our first 12 months we had 14,385 unique visitors and over 887,000 hits viewed from more than 90 countries. The highest proportion of visitors were based in Belgium (NATO watching NATO Watch, perhaps), with the UK, US, Germany, Russia, China, Canada and the Netherlands among the other leading visitor nations.In addition, our web site has been selected to participate in the British Library’s web archiving programme. Nominated websites are considered to be of long term research value and will remain permanently available to researchers in the future as hardware and software change over time.
